Anglian Water borrows water from the environment, stores it and treats it to world-class standards to supply safe drinking water to 4.3 million customers in towns and villages from Grimsby in the north east of their region to Milton Keynes at its south-western tip. Every day Anglian Water customers flush around one billion litres of wastewater down toilets and drains into their wastewater network. Around 2.5 million homes and businesses in their region rely on Anglian Water to safeguard their health and protect the environment where we all live and work.

Greenfields Community Housing took over Braintree District Council’s homes in Nov 2007. Greenfields has approx 8000 homes, spread all over the district, which covers Braintree, Witham and Halstead and many surrounding towns and villages. Greenfields also have around 435 leasehold properties.

Waterwise is the leading water efficiency organisation in the UK. It is an independent, not-for-profit, nongovernmental organisation that aims to reduce the waste of water. Tap into Savings is a programme that Waterwise is running alongside others to help people save water in their homes.

Redhill-based Raven Housing Trust manages almost 6,000 homes ranging from studio flats to five bedroom houses, sheltered accommodation for the elderly and affordable homes for key workers. Raven has an ambitious development programme to build more than 500 new homes by 2014. All new homes will be built to at least level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

Whitefriars Housing Group (www.whitefriarshousing.co.uk)
Whitefriars Housing Group Limited is a not-for-profit housing and regeneration organisation established in 2000 that owns and manages approximately 18,000 homes across Coventry. Whitefriars has a key role, in partnership with others, across the West Midlands to develop new affordable homes and regenerate communities. In addition to providing homes, Whitefriars works in partnership with communities and other agencies to provide training and employment opportunities and support services for local residents, with the aim of building sustainable communities.
